Painite - The Power Stone

flag-of-Myanmar.png

Painite was once considered one of the rarest minerals on earth. It was first found in Myanmar by British mineralogist and gem dealer Arthur Pain in the 1950s. The mineral was named after him. Painite has an orange-red to brownish-red color due to trace amounts of iron.

Even though its name came from a person and not its ability to ease pain, painite is powerful. Those who are familiar with painite feel that it is helpful in relieving pain on the mental, physical, emotional and spiritual levels.
